My name is Michael Kakku Lojkar, I’m an Marine Science researcher who has recently joined the Kwajalein Coral Crew. I’ve been on the crew for nearly three days now and I have learned so much. I have been imputed on the 7 Phases of the Coral Crew. If you are wondering what the 7 Phases of the Coral Crew are it’s a plan for helping improve the coral reefs of the Marshall Islands and if we succeed, hopefully worldwide. I hope to better understand the ocean environment in my homeland and beyond. With the knowledge I gain as a Marine Science researcher I hope to help expand my knowledge to others and hope the work I do really helps the ocean.
