It  took about an hour to gather over 200 flip flops that had washed ashore one tiny, uninhabited island. 

And we had barely scratched the surface.  Our idea:

A sturdy, BIODEGRADABLE flip flop .

We envision a network of small, solar-powered sensors anchored strategically across the seas .

We envision a center for research, ecotourism, and film and media services.  Here in the RMI, and at other locations throughout the Pacific.

We need your help to make our reefs, our islands, and our waters famous.  We know that increasing the exposure of our pristine reefs will increase their value.  This will lead to their protection.
