Project Flip Flop

That is how many flip flops we collected in one hour.  On the beach of one tiny, uninhabited island.  With hundreds still to be cleaned up and about a thousand more islands to go, we realized that we are staring down a really big problem.

We want to stock the shelves of island nations and coastal communities with an affordable, sturdy, biodegradable flip flop that safely dissolves in ocean water.
