1000 square ft of coral project

For three days, our marine biology class have worked together to create and begin a coral bleaching project. On our first day of snorkeling, we started off by finding the perfect area in which we would use to accumulate information on the amount of dead, alive, and bleached corals. We began our calculations on the second day, but after realizing that it was harder to estimate the amount of corals being counted individually, we gathered information on what we knew, agreed on our best estimate, and used it in our data analysis. We ended our last day of snorkeling by capturing 10-15 second clips of the corals we counted. We've worked hard to record our collected data and are now using what we know to spread our knowledge and concerns about our beautiful and still existing corals.
